Should you have a water softener in Florida?
For most Florida homes, yes. The water runs hard to very hard, which leaves scale, spots, and dry skin, and shortens appliance life. Six questions tell you how hard yours runs and whether a softener is worth it.
What's the downside of a water softener?
A softener adds a little sodium to your water and uses salt you refill over time (we carry and load it for members). Sized right, that trade-off is minor next to what hard water does to your home.
